Big Horse Trek Trail Route 2020

Big Horse Trek will travel through some of Victoria's most beautiful areas and cover a distance of over 400km over the course of about 6 weeks. 

 

Starting in Healesville, Bec and the horses will spend the first 10 days following the Bicentennial National Trail, before veering off into the Howqua region.  They will experience the best of the western alpine region here, scooting around the back of Mount Buller, a popular winter skiing location for Australians.  They will then make their way to the town of Mansfield, where they will then follow the Great Victorian Rail Trail all the way to the trail-head at Tallarook.  The team will pass through some of Victoria's most beautiful regional towns, such as Marysville, Jamieson, Mansfield, Yea.

Get ready for mountains, rivers, old-growth forests, country roads, highways, farmland, country towns, and a whole lot of amazing Australian wildlife.
